NPSC Recruitment Detailed Eligibility:

Assistant Professor:

Master’s Degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 55%
marks or its equivalent grade relax.able by 5% in case of ST/ SC and differently-abled
candidates.
Clearing of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/ CSIR or similar test accredited by the State like SLET/SET if such tests are established in future.

Assistant Professor (SCTE):

Master’s Degree in Science/Humanities/ Arts with 55% marks relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/Differently abled candidate.
M.Ed/B.Ed with at least 55% marks relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/Differently abled candidate.

Sr. Technicians: M.Sc in relevant discipline with competency in Computer Application.

Lecturers:

B.E/B.Tech in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks.
M.Sc in relevant discipline with 60% relaxable by 5% for ST/SC candidates

Research Associate: M.Sc Mathematics with 50% relaxable by 5% for ST/SC candidates with B.Ed.

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or equivalent) relaxable by 5% for ST/SC/Differently abled candidates, in the relevant subject from a recognised University with B.Ed from any National Council of Teacher Education recognised institution.

Age limit (As on 01.01.2018): 21 to 30 years.

Relaxation in upper Age limit:

5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
10 years for Physically Handicapped Persons
Others as per government policy

NPSC Recruitment Selection Process:

The selection process will be based on Written Examination. The written examination will consist of 2 papers, of 200 marks
